Welcome to the Derian House Lottery

At Derian House Children’s Hospice we help babies, children and young people whose lives are too short to make happy memories with their family.

We care for more than 400 families from across the North West, offering short breaks, wellbeing activities, holidays and end-of-life care.

When families come to stay, our nurses take the strain of the medical side of the care, giving them the time and space to just be a family.

We have four adapted holiday lodges in Ribby Hall and the Lake District, and are able to offer our families a free week's holiday every year.

When a child dies, we put our arms around the whole family, offering bereavement support for parents, siblings and grandparents, for as long as they need us.

We help our families in their darkest days, in any way they need us.

But we can’t do all this alone - to run our service costs £6 million every year. With less than 30 per cent of our funding coming from the NHS, we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters.
